Kitchen Manager

SWEGS Kitchen “A Healthy Approach to Comfort Food” is seeking an experienced kitchen manager.  Swegs currently operates 3 locations with 2 opening soon. This candidate must possess:

  • great people skills
  • have high energy
  • ability to manage production for maximum efficiency
  • strong food safety skills
  • interest in healthy cooking using clean ingredients

Kitchen Manager functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Analyzing product sales mix to create production schedules for the kitchen staff
  • Manage production to maximize kitchen efficiency in a small footprint
  • Able to motivate and lead entire crew in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Able to understand the use of and adherence to standardized recipes to ensure proper nutrition expectations
  • Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook and Aloha POS experience a plus
  • Must have a professional image and an ability to engage and effectively communicate with the customer
  • A willingness to learn and promote the importance of proper nutrition in your diet
  • The ability to open and/or close the operation is the absence of the GM

Must be flexible with schedule. Business hours may vary by location but typically operate 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM with abbreviated hours on the weekend.
